ABDOU ZAHDIABOUT — ABDOU ZAHDI
Creating images.
Building stories.
I’m Abdou Zahdi — director, filmmaker, content creator and actor. For 11 years, I have been learning to tell stories through images, across advertising, digital content, production, editing, art direction and acting.
My path has not been a straight line. There have been highs, lows, successful projects, moments of reflection and plenty of learning. Each step has shaped how I create, lead a team and build a more truthful image.
MY JOURNEY
Always evolving.
I started in multimedia, then specialised in cinema. Over time, I developed a full creative practice: pre-production, shooting, editing, directing, content creation and on-camera performance.
Working abroad, particularly in Dubai and France, helped me challenge my habits, discover other approaches to production and raise my visual and professional standards.
MY VISION
Thinking bigger.
My long-term goal is to help create mainstream Moroccan cinema that travels, has an immediately recognisable identity and reaches international audiences.
I want to develop ambitious, accessible Moroccan films with the impact, spectacle and identity of major international franchises, while retaining a deeply Moroccan voice and culture.
